Hsipaw

Located 200km north-east of Mandalay in a beautiful valley, Hsipaw is a good starting point for easy day hikes: The river, hot springs, the Nam Hu Nwe Waterfall and local villages are waiting to be explored.

At the Central Market in Hsipaw traditional dressed vendors from many tribes like Shan and Kachin offer their good: It is one of the most interesting markets to visit in all over Myanmar!

Watching the sunset at Five Buddha Hill or Nine Buddha Hill is an other highlight.

If you like some thrill, then take the train to travel to Hsipaw and enjoy the ride over the spectacular Goteik bridge.
